ABOUT THE HIVE

The Hive, as it is affectionately known, takes a distinctive approach to the design process, focusing on residential decor in an event environment. We share a desire, passion and focus centered on creating fresh, inspired event design while methodically creating intimate settings that encourage a personal connection.

Each and every design detail including lounge vignettes, bar settings, tablescapes, accents, event branding, florals, lighting and drape is led by our talented team.  Our clients represent those planning for social, wedding, corporate, and non-profit organizations. With all of them in mind, we proudly developed, Eclectic Hive, a boutique event design & rental house.

Eclectic Hive is a collaboration of professionals that draw upon multiple philosophies, styles, or ideas to gain complementary insights into crafting an experience for our clients that achieves their purpose. Jill founded Eclectic Hive in 2012 after recognizing the need for a more distinguished, residential approach to event design in the Colorado market. Prior to Jill establishing The Hive, she began her career in Hollywood working in the special events’ industry. While collaborating on projects and sourcing new collections remains close at heart, Jill’s focus is largely centered on the importance of culture and community both within her company and the industry.

Élise comes to The Hive with experience in corporate event planning, apparel buying, textile sales, leadership and mentoring. She’s an advocate for people and culture, and working together efficiently with compassion, collaboration, effective communication and enthusiasm. Élise hails from the Midwest, but her career has taken her to California, New York, North Carolina and now her home of 5 years, Colorado. At The Hive you can find Élise on-site or behind the scenes collaborating with her team.

Nicholas is a logistics wizard. He has a gift for seeing the big picture while understanding how even the smallest of details make such a vast impact. He can mainly be found behind the scenes improving internal systems and assisting in company growth ventures. Nicholas enjoys working with all aspects of events from concept to execution.

While living in California near wine country, Jessica dipped her toes in the event décor realm with a small décor company of her own, specializing in antique tabletop rentals and re-imagined finds. Upon moving to Colorado, she began working alongside Denver’s most prestigious catering and event specialists. She is highly sought after for her keen sense of style, passion for all things beautiful, and impeccable attention to detail.

She has an eye for the details and exquisite design. She can often be found on-site making sure your event is just as flawless as it should be.

Designing in Los Angeles and back to her roots here in Colorado she brings spunk, creativity, positive attitude, and a hustle mentality to the industry. She has recently stepped into her new role as full time designer and is willing to take on the challenges that come with it. You can find her on-site for an event, networking, or working behind the scenes with her team to ensure a smooth event from start to finish.

Jillian leads the Hive's Utah based office. From design concepts to on-site operations, she is dedicated to the success of every event.

Adrienne is the Hive’s talent factotum. Her background in design, business operations, purchasing, and management allows her to take on many tasks to keep the Hive running smoothly. Adrienne works internally supporting the team by managing Human Resources, handling and maintaining AR/AP, sourcing and ordering new product, fostering beneficial relationships with our suppliers, coordinating with vendors and assisting overall with company operations.

Meredi comes to the Hive with 15 years of event experience in catering, staff management, logistics, and planning. She is responsible for management of labor, productivity, and training at the Hive. She believes the biggest investment a company can make is in their employees. Her focus is centered on employee growth and training as well community culture.

Charlie is the jack of all trades here at the hive, from building custom projects, to organizing inventory within the warehouse, to constantly looking for ways to improve, all while making sure events run smoothly. With a modest background in landscape design and significant service industry experience, Charlie stumbled upon the hive while working events and has not looked back. He can be found commanding day to day operations within the warehouse, and occasionally on site for additional support.
